Size and fit-out
Which case size do I need?
Go by the inside dimensions. Measure your gear at its widest point and, with pick-and-pluck foam, allow about 2 cm of foam on every side. The inside dimensions are in the table on each product page. If you are torn between two sizes, take the bigger one.
What do the letters in the model name mean?
No suffix means the case is empty. S stands for pick-and-pluck foam, CAM for a camera insert with padded dividers and TR for a trolley with wheels and a telescopic handle. The number refers to the size, for example MAX505 or MAX540.
How do I shape the pick-and-pluck foam?
No tools needed. The foam is pre-cut into small cubes that you pull out one by one. Lay your items on top, trace around them with a pen, then pluck cube by cube. Leave a layer at the bottom so everything sits on foam.
What is the difference between MAX and EKO?
MAX cases are IP67 waterproof and carry Panaro's lifetime warranty. EKO cases are made from recycled polypropylene, rated IP65 against dust and water jets, and cost less. For rain or boat use, choose MAX.
Which size fits?
Enter the dimensions of your gear. We show every case whose inside dimensions are big enough, with about 2 cm of foam all round.
Quality and standards
What does IP67 mean?
The 6 means dust-tight. The 7 means the closed case stays sealed for 30 minutes at 1 m depth. Rain, splashes and a short dunk are not a problem.
Are these original Panaro cases?
Yes. Every case comes straight from Plastica Panaro in Italy and carries the manufacturer's original EAN. We do not sell copies.
Can I take the case on a plane?
As checked luggage, yes. Whether it passes as cabin baggage depends on your airline. Use the outside dimensions from the table, handles and wheels included. The pressure valve lets the case open normally after the flight.
Can I lock the case?
Yes. Next to the latches there are holes for padlocks or seals. The MAXLOCK TSA combination lock fits exactly.
Shipping and payment
How much is shipping?
Within Germany €5.90, to the EU €11.90. Free shipping to Germany and the EU from €300.
How fast will my order arrive?
Most orders leave within 24 hours with DHL. In Germany they usually arrive within 1 to 2 working days, elsewhere in the EU within 3 to 5. You get the tracking link by email.
How can I pay?
You see the available payment methods at checkout, including credit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay. More are added depending on your country.
Returns and warranty
Can I return a case?
Yes, within 30 days. Returns within the EU are free and we send you a return label. Please leave the pick-and-pluck foam untouched.
What warranty do I get?
Panaro gives a limited lifetime warranty on all MAX cases against breakage and manufacturing defects. Foam and contents are excluded, EKO cases and pouches are not covered. Panaro warranty terms
What if something is broken?
Email us at info@caseplanet.net with your order number and a few photos. We check the case and handle the claim with Panaro.
